Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing Claim Line operational programs that includes working with internal stakeholders and vendors. Build and maintain continuous communication and processes between internal and external individuals. Accurate entry of information into multiple platforms. Recording of cases for performance tracking and daily status updates. Attend meetings with vendors, branches and Client Service Managers.
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to understand the requirements of the task and applying judgment in making decisions while working independently.
Participate in team projects with the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsible for continuous communication with the vendor(s) to ensure all program expectations are identified and maintained.
Ability to handle a dedicated mailbox with multiple questions or issues per day from internal and external users relating to programs, processes, and resolving service issues appropriately.
Routinely collaborate with Claim Adjusters, Branch Leaders, clients and vendors.
Essential duties include developing and enhancing existing programs and participating in client and/or vendor meetings.
Qualifications:
Required: College degree; General knowledge of workers compensation managed care industry. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills-must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred: 1 Year of direct insurance industry experience. Proficiency in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Behaviors: Ability to work in a team as well as individually to support the role.
