PepperPointe Partnerships, a dental service organization, serving orthodontic, pediatric and general dentist clinics throughout Kentucky, is looking for someone to join our Medicaid insurance team.  Prior Medicaid experience is not necessary to be successful in this role. A proficiency in using software to update patients’ files, run and monitor weekly and monthly reports to verify insurance payments received, and upload completed insurance forms into patients’ electronic files is required. This position will work closely with office managers and clinical teams 

A Day In The Life Of :
 

Manage the retainer billing process from pre-authorization, through approval, billing and payment. 

Call patients to communicate denial and explain the reason for the denial and other options available to the patient. 

Follow up with Medicaid on denied cases. 

Scan documents into patient files. 

Submit billing to Medicaid. 

Support other Medicaid team members when they are out of the office.
