Overview:
Texas GovLink, Inc. helps state and local governments identify staff to work on their information technology projects. Many of our clients are going through enterprise level modernization of their software solutions and require experienced information technology professionals to become part of their team on these long-term projects. One of our large Texas government clients uses a broad array of technologies and 3rd party service providers to support their statewide business operations. They are currently seeking an experienced help desk technician to support their suite of software solutions and troubleshooting reported issues. These are large, complex applications and are used by over 15,000 employees and stakeholders located throughout the state of Texas. The client is headquartered in Austin and would require the selected candidate to work from their offices in southeast Austin 1 day a week, with the remaining days being remote. This is a long-term opportunity with opportunity for advancement.  

Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to stakeholders for clients’ IT systems and applications.

Experience providing IT application support.

Experience researching and resolving escalated problems.

Experience with help desk software (e.g. ticketing systems like ServiceNow, knowledge bases).
