Overview:
As the Vice President of Strategy you will work with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to explore, develop, and execute commercialization strategies for our Intelligence, Defense, Cyber, and Exploratory capabilities that have emerged from our Public Sector business. This challenging role will include working closely with all functions to drive the engineering and delivery of advanced products and solutions to address customer challenges in both the public and private sector. You will play an integral role in the definition and launch of new software capabilities and have a leadership role in transforming BigBear.ai to a product-led organization.

What you will do:
Lead, define, represent, and communicate a comprehensive BigBear.ai software strategy to all stakeholders for the public and private sector markets.

Identify and create industry partnerships for strategic marketing and joint go to market strategies.

Lead, manage and mentor product and strategy teams.

Provide product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines.

Bring the voice of the customer to engineering and product teams

Contribute to product development sprints and enhancement opportunities.

Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.

Monitor product development sprints and evaluate results.

Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, board members, and other stakeholders.

Lead Product Marketing Managers to assess product mix and marketing strategy.

Monitor and manage strategic marketing plans for each product or product lines.

Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product.

Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.

Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers.

Become the key evangelist of BigBear.ai products and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders and market analysts.

What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, product management, or similar field

7 years of experience in a product management role, supporting multiple products and achieving sales in multiple markets that includes:Developing product roadmaps, forecasts, budgets, and metrics

Developing go to market plans in support of software product sales

Developing pricing and competitive strategies in support of software product sales

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

What we'd like you to have:
Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, product management, or similar

Experience operating in a Product-led organization

Experience in Product Development employing Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model.

Experience with product development serving public sector (federal and other government markets) and private sector (commercial markets)

Active security clearance
