Administrative and Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionThe Administrative & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in supporting freight operations and office administration. This individual will be responsible for assigning LTL and full truckload carriers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring shipments are picked up and delivered on time, and assisting with a variety of administrative functions.ResponsibilitiesSchedule dock appointments and maintain shipping calendarCoordinate freight pickups with LTL and FTL carriersOnboard new carriers and maintain professional relationships with carrier representativesNegotiate rates with carriersProvide customer updates on product, shipping status, and delivery expectationsAssist with invoicing, accounts payable, and resolving invoice disputesAnswer phones and support customer service inquiriesPerform data and order entry, filing, and inventory updatesSupport the owners with general office tasks as neededCross-train in additional office responsibilities as appropriateRequired SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office programsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent grammar and attention to detailCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong customer service orientationEffective organization and time managementAbility to stay calm under pressure and manage frequent task changesWorks well independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn, adapt, and grow into new responsibilitiesBenefits:* Opportunities for skill development and on-the-job training.* Potential for future employment opportunities based on performance and company needs.
