AWS ATL Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary As a Logistics Coordinator at DSV you will coordinate daily operational activities and oversee warehouse associates in receiving, shipping and product management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities, SOPs and forklift certification. Oversee unloading, stacking, picking, staging and outbound orders; verify all paperwork. Load orders accurately onto doors and trailers; research and resolve discrepancies. Maintain quality control: verify products, report damages, pack, shrink wrap and label. Execute safety protocols, cleanliness and housekeeping; comply with ISO and OSHA standards. Assist in labor management: schedules, productivity sheets, payroll capture and work schedules. Participate in safety and quality meetings; report non?conformities to supervisors. Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1 year experience in a logistics or distribution environment. Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification required). Basic computer skills; familiarity with WMS, RF scanners. English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal). Preferred Qualifications 2?4 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. 2?4 years forklift experience. Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasional handling of 21?50 pounds; frequent bending, walking and standing; ability to lift, carry, push and pull.
