About the Organization & Opportunity:Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.• Our client is well established in the telecom industry • Employees describe the company as having great people and management is always showing employees how much they are appreciated• Great office environment to ask questionsSenior Accountant Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybridResponsibilities:• Senior Accountant will track new debt company signs• Senior Accountant will record monthly interest expense then reconcile• Senior Accountant will be responsible for amortization schedules• Senior Accountant will make monthly journal entries • Senior Accountant will book payments monthly - first creating a schedule, then booking derivatives, then finally calculating covenant ratios • Senior Accountant will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements• 3+ years of corporate GL accounting experience • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • Should have previous intercompany accounting experience• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, HLOOKUP's, and index matching• Must have large ERP system experience (NetSuite is system used, previous NetSuite experience is a plus) • Previous debt accounting experience is not required - but must know how to reconcile accounts and book journal entries, must know debits and credits• International accounting experience is a plus but not required Personality Fit:• Works well in a fast-paced xhmxlyz environment• Eager to learn• Detail oriented • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Enjoys teamwork• Hard working• Efficient• Dedicated to getting the work done and getting it done correctly • Self-Motivated - Someone who does NOT need to be micromanaged • Committed to the positionSalary: $85,000 - $90,000Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity#ZRCFS
