About the Organization & Opportunity:Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.• Our client is well established in the telecom industry • Employees describe the company as having great people and management is always showing employees how much they are appreciated• Great office environment to ask questionsSenior Accountant Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybridResponsibilities:• Senior Accountant position is a general ledger role supporting operating expenses for 35 subsidiaries• Monthly, Senior Accountant will review contracts and book accruals based on the contracts or PO (going through different vendors lists and expense categories). • Senior Accountant will complete reconciliations associated with the above accounts.• During close, which is last week of a month and first week of month Senior Accountant will be busy with month end related tasks.• Senior Accountant will coordinate with cash team as it relates to debts but will not be booking cash entries.• Senior Accountant will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements• 2-3+ years of corporate GL accounting experience • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance• Should have a good understanding of the accrual process • Should have previous exposure to intercompany or multi-subsidiary accounting • Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, HLOOKUP's, and index matching• Must have large ERP system experience (NetSuite is system used, previous NetSuite experience is a plus) • International accounting experience is a plus but not required • Multicurrency accounting experience is a plus• Previous real estate experience is a plusPersonality xhuatnn Fit:• Works well in a fast-paced environment• Eager to learn• Detail oriented • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Enjoys teamwork• Hard working• Efficient• Dedicated to getting the work done and getting it done correctly • Self-Motivated - Someone who does NOT need to be micromanaged • Committed to the positionSalary: $95,000 - $105,000Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity#INAUG2025
