About the Organization & Opportunity: Our client is well established in the telecom industry Employees describe the company as having great people and management is always showing employees how much they are appreciated Great office environment to ask questions Senior Accountant (Revenue) Location: Herndon, VA - Position will be hybrid Responsibilities: Senior Accountant will support the monthly revenue review process: Senior Accountant will help with inputting abstract flow charts into the system Senior Accountant will have responsibilities related to amendments Senior Accountant will have responsibilities related to cancellations Senior Accountant will be part of a team of 3 people doing this type of support work Senior Accountant will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements 2-5+ years' experience in a corporate accounting environment required for Senior Accountant role Degree required Must understand revenue recognition Knowledgeable in US GAAP Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's Previous international intercompany accounting experience is a plus but NOT required Previous foreign currency experience is a plus but NOT required Previous public accounting experience is a plus but NOT required Previous NetSuite experience is a plus but NOT required as long as someone has ERP system experience - will be trained on our client's process Previous experience reading revenue contracts is a plus PowerBI will be used - our client can train on this if needed Personality Fit: Strong attention to detail Eager to learn Works well in a fast-paced environment Enjoys teamwork Motivated Efficient Dedicated to getting the work done and getting it done correctly Not afraid to ask questions Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity
