Growing together.As the Director of Business Development, you will lead the agency to achieve growth targets in revenue, census, and start-of-care goals. You will drive the execution of the Sales and Marketing plan, build relationships with referral sources, and support overall organizational growth.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Primary Responsibilities:Hire, direct, train, and supervise the sales team at the agency levelCoach employees to overcome objections and work toward growth goalsMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of community resources and provide education to the sales teamCommunicate with healthcare professionals about prospective and current patientsEstablish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the community to promote hospice philosophy and supportAssist the Director of Admissions in overseeing the referral to admissions process to achieve growth goalsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Demonstrated solid computer skills to meet Microsoft Outlook and CRM software requirementsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivatedPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field3+ years of experience in healthcare sales xhmxlyz Knowledge of home health or hospice careExcellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skillsDemonstrates the ability to coach and develop Account Executives and communicate effectively with branch and clinical staff to foster a growth environment*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution
