ATARID Specialist Recruiters, Property and Asset Management Industry have been retained on behalf of our client, a national developer and manager of affordable housing in need of:Regional Vice President - Multifamily OperationsOversee multi-state operations of multifamily affordable housing. Including Responsibilities: -Oversee the operations ensuring staff are achieve financial goals, adhering to compliance practices and support on-site teams. -Hire, train, mentor, coach and develop team to maximize performance.-Establish and maintain relationships with agencies, investors, ownership groups, reporting and leading calls. -Lead regional communications, ensuring team are aware of updates.-Visit properties regularly, paying close attention to compliance.-Coach direct reports on budgeting, managing expenses, capital improvements, and maintenance expectations. -Ensure all property management staff are fully aware of the rent-up schedule, tax credit delivery schedule and break-even plan for any new properties.-Hold weekly meetings with Regional Manager for any property in active rent-up. -Keep Development and Senior Management apprised of progress.-Travel to properties in the assigned portfolio, corporate meetings, conferences, training as required.Qualifications:-10+ years of successfully managing multi-state property operations of affordable housing properties, including compliance of LIHTC, HUD and S8. -Current working knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and local City and State programs.-Industry certifications CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM preferred.-Experienced in finance, budgets, capital expenses and operations.-Persuasive leadership style, excellent communication skills, ability to develop long term relationships and work closely with investors, ownership and regulators.-Proficient in MS 365 and Property Management software.-Travel - approximately 40%Location: Based in Houston, TX Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000+ negotiable, commensurate with experience, plus bonus; comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare.Forward your resume together with dates/times that you are available for a confidential chat.ATARID - Specialist Recruiters has been established for 15+ years and is the leading provider of Management, Senior and C-level opportunities to industry professionals.
