Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Expert Tax Support:

Provide accurate, end-to-end tax preparation and consultation for a range of client scenarios — from simple W-2 filings to more complex cases involving self-employment income, amendments, and investments.

• Engage with Clients:

Build strong connections with clients by understanding their unique financial situations, providing guidance, and making tax topics approachable.

• Act as a Community Ambassador:

Represent the brand within your community by hosting local events, networking, and participating in outreach efforts to grow a loyal client base.

• Educate and Inform:

Lead tax-related learning sessions and create accessible content to help individuals feel more confident in managing their taxes.

• Utilize Technology:

Leverage advanced tax preparation tools and virtual communication platforms to serve clients in person and online, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• Provide Ongoing Support:

Respond to client questions, offer proactive advice, and help resolve tax-related issues with clarity and empathy.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or licensed attorney credential.
• Current and valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience preparing at least 30 individual federal and state tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with IRS Circular 230 regulations.
• Ability to work a consistent weekly schedule with at least 24 hours on-site at a designated location.
• Reside within the United States and meet any state-specific licensing or certification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
• Experience providing holistic tax advisory services, beyond return preparation.
• Passion for community involvement, including creating educational content, hosting events, or growing an online presence.
• Strong customer service background with high emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Technologically savvy — comfortable using CRM systems, video conferencing tools, and digital tax platforms.
