THE WORK: As a Network Deployment Coordinator, supporting a dedicated in-office position, you will be responsible for facilitating working relationships between Big Star Transit, Transportation providers, Owner Operators, and various client dispatch operations. This coordination will be performed while working in client-specific technology platforms as well as relevant internal technology platforms such as Orion, Samsara, and Microsoft suites. The coordinator focuses on daily network deployment against defined client capacity needs (Run Cuts), while overseeing live day service to respond to any Orion Services Requests or performance matters that could lead to disruptions in the network's delivery of contracted services. This includes but is not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison to the Transportation Network Operators; the first line of communication, answering questions and addressing issues in real-time that might impact their performance.
  • Makes and receives communications with various command centers to report and/or resolve issues in real-time that might impact the overall performance of the service being delivered.
  • Coordinates and assigns back-up capacity (STBY) and/or additional non-dedicated capacity upon demonstrated need due to scheduled network operator availability, breakdowns, incidents, or accidents.
  • Monitors various computerized dispatch systems and telephones to meet provisions of scheduled services for quality on-time performance.
  • Monitors contractual performance of Transportation Network Operators; safety, reliability, and on-time performance; raising any high-level concerns to the Network Deployment Manager.
  • Monitor and report any contractual performance violations using the Orion Performance platform, including but not limited to safety, reliability, on-time service, and service performance.
  • Processes all Deployment related Orion Service Requests in a timely and relevant manner.
  • Processes First Notice for all accidents and incidents.
  • Provide daily reports to Managers to recap live day service performance.
  • Responsible for influencing positive vehicle operator morale and empathetic-centric customer service through various mediums of communication.
  • Ability to be independently productive in both a traditional office environment with minimal supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Preferred

  • 1 or more years in dispatch or customer service environment

Language Skills:

Required

  • Professionalism,
  • Ability to speak proper English

Technical Experience:

Required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Tech savvy with the ability to quickly grasp various technologies

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 2:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Work days currently under review.
