SATCO - Outside Sales Representative Position:

SATCO Products, Inc. a National Lighting manufacturer seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Central/South Texas.

Job Description: Deliver sales growth with increased market share at existing accounts. Prospecting new customers and opportunities to expand our customer distribution base.

Territory – Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and the Texas Valley

Needed Proficiencies:

· Strong relationship building skills with a Sales and Customer Service-first attitude

· Strong Communication and Prospecting skills

· Lighting and/or Electrical Background preferred

· 3 years of Sales Experience with a proven track record of managing a territory as an Outside Sales representative

· Ability to use Excel, Word, Microsoft Suite

Area of Responsibilities:

  • Organizing the time and travel schedule to service the existing accounts daily (5 days/week)

  • Identify individual customer needs and provide solutions to grow business

  • Negotiating programs and incentives for customers; closing sales project and sales opportunities

  • Conduct Product trainings, Counter Days and other functions for our customers and the end-users as needed.

A minimum of 3 years sales experience in Lighting, Electrical Distribution or Electrical Industry desired.

Candidates should preferably reside in or around the Houston Area for easy commuting daily to customer base (Austin and San Antonio candidates will be considered provided they have strong access to the core parts of the territory). This opportunity requires the candidate to be in the territory 5 days per week.
