Position Overview
We're seeking an
Outside Sales Representative
with a strong network in the interior design industry to expand our presence across the design community. This is a
1099 contract role
ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on relationship-building and has a passion for art and design.
The selected candidate will represent the AXIOM brand portfolio—introducing our services, collections, and programs to new design firms, showrooms, developers, and trade professionals. Based on your experience and interests, placement may focus on one or more of our brands:

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, developers, and architects to expand brand reach and awareness.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with each brand's aesthetic and client base.
- Conduct presentations and portfolio overviews for design studios and trade partners.
- Collaborate with the AXIOM leadership team to tailor proposals and client packages for prospective accounts.
- Attend industry events, design shows, and art fairs to foster new relationships and gather market insights.
- Serve as an ambassador for AXIOM and its sister companies, ensuring brand consistency and professionalism in every engagement.
- Provide regular updates on sales activity, client engagement, and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in
outside sales
,
business development
, or
account management
—preferably within art, design, or luxury goods. - Existing connections within the
interior design
or
architecture
communities strongly preferred. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and opportunities.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and an appreciation for art and design.
- Comfortable working independently as a
1099 contractor
with flexible structure and commission-based compensation.
