Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics, and maintaining inventory control. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective supply chain management, including logistics, inventory control, and procurement.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP ERP and Oracle EBS to manage supply chain operations.
  • Analyze supply chain data using tools like Tableau and Power BI to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance demand planning and production planning processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and implement solutions based on Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing activities to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics and present findings to management.

Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP, Oracle EBS, and MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in supply chain analytics and logistics.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data analysis purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
