Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry and a proven track record in sales and business development. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and independently, with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and develop relationships to generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and target industries
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and build relationships
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients to showcase our services and value proposition
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure new business
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's services and industry trends to effectively communicate with clients
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales and business development activities to management
  • Continuously seek out new opportunities for business growth and expansion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
