Job Summary
As a part of Compass Digital's – Healthcare Digital team, the VP Digital Strategy will lead work with the Compass Healthcare business to drive and execute digital growth strategies across the healthcare portfolio with a focus on patient and retail experiences, account management, sales enablement, and product growth.

This role combines strategic vision with hands-on commercial leadership to support expansion, drive adoption of digital solutions, and articulate compelling narratives that resonate with clients and stakeholders. This position requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and business partners to strengthen relationships with existing accounts, enhance product positioning, and expand the digital healthcare ecosystem.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of technology and business experience, along with proven consulting and/or management skills driving strategic projects within large retail or services-based organizations.

Key Responsibilities
Client Growth Strategy

  • lead a team to scale vision and impact across Healthcare sectors with a focus on pre-sales, sales and post implementation support
  • Sales enablement - targeted client growth strategy for digital solutions include for existing and new business
  • Technical account management - account success including best usage of solutions as well as managing escalations post deployment
  • Targeted Client Growth for Digital Solutions - Consistently identify new opportunities to drive digital programs into the business and drive results

Sales Support&Enablement

  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to sales teams, providing thought leadership, market insights, and competitive positioning
  • Create tailored messaging, use cases, and client-facing assets that articulate the value proposition of digital healthcare products in partnership with the product and marketing teams
  • Work with sales teams to drive successful RFPs, proposals, and solution demonstrations
  • Support the sales team as needed and provide support on digital and innovation in Healthcare to differentiate and grow new sales
  • Support brand elevation through executive-level content and strategy communications
  • Provide governance updates to senior business leadership on a regular basis
  • Represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and client presentations as a digital healthcare strategist

Account Management

  • Oversee strategic account management for key healthcare clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities with digital and technology offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships across existing accounts to be seen as a trusted digital advisor
  • Partner with product, marketing and engineering leadership to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing utilization of existing digital solutions
  • Key point of contact for escalation management for digital solutions and oversee to resolution

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital strategy, innovation, commercial operations, or account management within the healthcare or health tech sector.
  • Ability to quickly relate to a company's business and technology strategy with clients / partners as well as internal leadership level within the sector.
  • Ability to grow and develop strategy team by elevating current performance to keep pace with organizational growth
  • Experience managing and executing large scale technology and digital transformation strategies in large organizations.
  • Proven communication skills in delivering presentations and managing communication in large organizations.
  • Strong experience working with digital health platforms, experience in food and nutritional services or support services a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience in a digital agency, services firm, or consulting organization
  • Experience working on projects in other digital channels – Mobile, Social, Digital Marketing, Technology Management, Project Management
  • Located in Charlotte or ability to relocate to the Compass office in Charlotte, NC
