We are seeking a senior leader to support our growing credit card business. In this critical role, the individual will lead the Acquisitions Product Strategy team for OneMain's new and fast-growing credit card business. This leader will be responsible for customer segmentation and all aspects of product innovation and development for the card business.

A successful candidate will expand their competencies and grow their business and industry acumen, as well as demonstrate the ability to work on complex processes or projects across the end-to-end product lifecycle. They will gain knowledge to suggest new answers to old questions, develop insights, and push the traditional boundaries of the lending industry.

In the Role

  • Lead the development of innovative, customer-centric credit card products that address unmet needs across diverse customer segments
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behaviors, motivations, and financial needs through data analysis, research, and direct feedback loops
  • Use advanced analytics and market intelligence to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and whitespace opportunities for new product constructs
  • Translate customer segmentation insights into differentiated product features, pricing strategies, and tailored offers that drive acquisition and engagement
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture by designing and executing experiments to validate new product ideas, features, and customer journeys
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Technology, Design, Marketing, and Risk—to rapidly prototype and launch new product concepts
  • Build scalable frameworks for continuous product iteration based on customer feedback, performance data, and competitive benchmarking
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic growth objectives and reflects evolving customer needs
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative thinking, bold experimentation, and data-driven decision-making
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of analysts focused on customer segmentation, product innovation, and strategic growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • 10+ years of analytics or product leadership experience, with significant exposure to credit cards and/or fintechs
  • 5+ years of experience creating customer segmentation and product frameworks, with the ability to communicate risk/reward trade-offs to executive leadership
  • Proven track record of launching innovative financial products or features based on customer insights
  • Deep knowledge of analytical tools and techniques to drive business outcomes (preferred experience with credit cards and/or fintechs)
  • Experience in developing digital strategies across financial products and services
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to gain trust and achieve business objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Strong team leader with a focus on employee development and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Ability to synthesize insights across different sources into a comprehensive and holistic strategy
  • Exhibits energy, curiosity, and the ability to frame intelligent questions to uncover issues and drive innovation
