Position Overview:

We're looking for a creative, organized Social Media Strategist to help us strengthen Rebel Green's digital presence on TikTok and Instagram. This part-time, remote position (10–20 hours per week) will focus on planning, creating, and optimizing social content that aligns with our brand identity and drives engagement with eco-conscious audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and manage a social media calendar built around four 3-month content blocks (seasonal or campaign-based).
  • Create content with a clear purpose and "why" behind each post to reinforce brand storytelling.
  • Build and maintain a consistent brand identity and tone, ensuring all social content aligns with Rebel Green's visual and messaging guidelines.
  • Establish and document brand guidelines for use across all social platforms.
  • Researches what other brands are doing in the digital content space and provides recommendations.
  • Tracks quarterly, semi-annual, and annual growth of all social media pages.

TikTok Strategy & Execution

  • Transition Rebel Green's TikTok to a Business Account (not TikTok Shop) and optimize account settings for growth.
  • Research and implement effective hashtag strategies (#rebelgreen and #organic as constants) to target and attract key audiences.
  • Explore TikTok influencer collaborations to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Develop content that subtly promotes Rebel Green products and connects to our TikTok Shop presence.

Instagram Strategy & Execution

  • Build a consistent and visually cohesive Instagram theme aligned with Rebel Green's brand identity.
  • Plan and schedule posts to complement TikTok content while keeping each platform's style distinct (avoid cross-platform logo overlap).
  • Explore influencer and retailer collaborations to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
  • Maintain a balanced posting schedule to sustain engagement and brand awareness.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram best practices, trends, and analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for photo/video content.
  • Experience building and maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Creative mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of fundamental design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
  • Passion for sustainability, wellness, and lifestyle brands preferred.
