Role Overview: 1558 Brand Agency is seeking an experienced Freelance Social Media Strategist/Manager to join our team. Your role will be to create, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives. This includes developing content calendars, crafting engaging posts, analyzing performance data, and staying current with platform trends. You will work directly with our internal team to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing approach for each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies for clients, including audience targeting, content pillars, and platform selection.
  • Create and manage detailed content calendars across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Write compelling copy and collaborate with our design team to produce engaging visual content.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with client communities.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our Brand Strategists and Marketing Consultants to ensure a consistent brand voice and message.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist, Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of all major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Loomly, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with small businesses or in an agency environment is highly preferred.

Contract Details:

  • This is a freelance, independent contractor position.
  • Payment will be on an hourly or project basis, depending on the client scope.
  • This is a remote position.

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
