Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Java Developer
with 10+ years of experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to design and develop enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    Java-based backend services
    and applications.
  • Build
    RESTful APIs, microservices
    , and cloud-ready applications using modern frameworks.
  • Perform
    code reviews, debugging, optimization, and performance tuning
    .
  • Work with architects to define technical solutions, patterns, and best practices.
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical designs.
  • Implement
    CI/CD pipelines
    , automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and database teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support releases.
  • Create technical documentation and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of strong Java development experience
    .
  • Expertise in
    Java 8/11/17
    , Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience with
    REST APIs, JSON, Web Services
    , and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Kafka/RabbitMQ
    , event-driven architecture is a plus.
  • Strong SQL experience with
    Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
    , or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with
    Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
    , and modern DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with
    Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle
    , and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Experience in
    CI/CD pipelines
    , cloud deployments, and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of
    data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
    .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to work
    onsite in NY
    (Hybrid may vary).
