Summary

Seeking a hands-on Java Developer to build, integrate, and customize solutions with
LexisNexis
,
Bridger
, and
Firco
platforms supporting compliance and data management use cases (e.g., sanctions/PEP screening, alerting, case workflows).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java services (APIs/microservices) that integrate with LexisNexis, Bridger, and Firco.
  • Configure and customize Bridger/Firco adapters, rules, and data feeds to meet business and regulatory needs.
  • Build secure, resilient integrations (batch and real-time) and optimize performance/throughput.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Data teams to gather requirements and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and platform issues; drive root-cause analysis.
  • Produce clear technical documentation (designs, runbooks, interface specs).

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    professional Java development (
    Java 8+
    ) with
    Spring/Spring Boot
    , RESTful APIs, and unit/integration testing (JUnit/Mockito).
  • Proven,
    hands-on integration
    experience with
    LexisNexis products
    (APIs/SDKs) and
    working knowledge of Bridger and Firco
    (configuration + integration).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle); familiarity with message queues/streaming (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and JSON/XML.
  • CI/CD and DevOps basics: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab CI; containerization (Docker) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of security for integrations (OAuth2, mTLS, secrets management), logging/monitoring, and performance tuning.

Nice to Have

  • AML/KYC & sanctions domain exposure (OFAC/UN/EU lists), alert triage workflows, and case management.
  • Experience with
    Firco
    (e.g., Trust, Continuity) or
    Bridger Insight XG
    rule tuning and list management.
  • Cloud experience (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with data pipelines (ETL), batch schedulers, and error-handling frameworks.
