UCX is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate - Will Call - 1st shift in our Raleigh, NC location. The hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Retail Counter Sales Responsibilities

  • Process orders for counter customers in showroom
  • Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, orders, inventory, etc.
  • Refine showroom appearance and maintain stock levels
  • Resolve order-related issues and expedite orders when necessary
  • Adhere to team processes and corporate initiatives

Customer Service

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide positive customer service
  • Process orders for counter customers
  • Check inventory and conduct cycle counts
  • Help improve and organize product displays in showroom and warehouse

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Use Forklift to unload inbound freight and load customer orders
  • Organize and review inventory as needed for the branch
  • Keep an organized, clean and safe work environment

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-5 years of retail experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous forklift experience a plus
  • Prior floor covering experience is a plus
  • Planning, organizing, and work management skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic Excel, Word, AS400 skills preferred
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills a must
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 80 lbs
