JOB

SUMMARY

HR & Payroll Representative

provides Human Resources guidance, representation and expertise on all employee-related

issues. The role is designated as administrative authority and has responsibility

and accountability necessary for accomplishing all office management, human

resources, payroll and accounts payable related duties. The position is responsible

for coordinating all employee and payroll information. This position also performs

all aspects of accounts payable management for the agency to include monthly

accruals and oversight of vendor contracts.

II.

DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Understands human resource needs for assigned

agencies per regular communication with agency leaders and analysis of human

resources data.

2.

Provides guidance and advice on issues

involving employee relations, performance management and employee hiring and

terminations.

3.

Prepares or edits employee performance or

disciplinary documentation as needed or requested.

4.

Advises on the application of Federal and State

labor and employment laws, policies and procedures to ensure compliancy.

5.

Serves as part of the interviewing team for

all new staff.

6.

Provides new hire human resources onboarding

for all staff and assists with the coordination of orientation for all teams. .

7.

Acts as liaison with Cornerstone Resources to

provide appropriate agency-specific training.

8.

Maintains personnel files in compliance with

Cornerstone, State and Federal regulations and policies, as well as FLSA or HR

related policies and processes.

9.

Processes and oversees all payroll functions

for assigned agency.

10.

Assume the responsibility of and

accountability for the job duties of a Payroll Representative.

11.

Coordinates all manual changes with payroll

resources and advises Executive Director of all discrepancies or manual changes

via end of payroll reports.

12.

Promotes and lives the organization's core

values and acts as a cultural champion.

13.

Process

and verify payment of invoices on a timely basis.

14.

Verify

invoice received for quantity, unit price, extensions and discounts

15.

Forward

invoices to appropriated department personnel for approval for payment.

16.

Code

invoices with appropriate chart of account number to assure that expenses are

distributed to the correct expense account.

17.

Prepare

invoices for input.

18.

Review

and monitor all terms of vendor contracts upon implementation and ensure terms

are met as they pertain to accounts payables.

19.

Communicate

with supplier/vendor concerning errors or questions on invoices.

20.

Prepare

monthly totals of open invoices and accounts payable and compile monthly

accrual report for Executive Director and Accountant review.

21.

Other duties as assigned by the Executive
