Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including operating the cash register and processing payments accurately.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while serving drinks in a nightclub or catering setting.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes and bartending techniques is an asset.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
