Responsibilities

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales effectively while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Develop tailored proposals based on client requirements, emphasizing value propositions and upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with management on marketing strategies, lead generation campaigns, and territory management initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently to foster long-term relationships.
- Track industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales within the transportation or logistics sector.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account management effectively.
- Expertise in lead generation techniques including cold calling and direct sales approaches.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking sales activities and managing customer data.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to conduct engaging product demos and upsell effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance evaluation.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams on marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
