We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative specializing in the trucking industry. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking within the trucking and logistics sectors.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by providing tailored solutions that meet their transportation needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our trucking services and technology offerings.
- Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize sales growth across assigned regions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development efforts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies relevant to trucking and logistics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management, lead generation, and account management effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong analysis abilities to assess client needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and customer interactions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams such as marketing and management.
- Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, customer service excellence, and developing long-term client relationships.
