As a Remote Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure our financial data remains precise and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software
Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly
Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment processing
Maintain organized and complete financial documentation
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with accountants and finance team members as needed
Follow company policies and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Qualifications:Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
High-speed internet connection and quiet workspace.
Preferred Skills:Knowledge of payroll and tax preparation processes
Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., QuickBooks Certification) is a plus
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
