Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, particularly in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on behavior management techniques and best practices.
  • Advocate for the needs of clients with developmental disabilities within various settings.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special education needs or developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • A compassionate approach toward working with individuals with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment.
