Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties

  • Design, implement, and supervise behavioral therapy programs tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments, to identify behavioral challenges and strengths.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care through one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across environments and maximize client success.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, behavioral health protocols, and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Lead training sessions for staff or caregivers on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques to promote effective support outside of therapy sessions.
  • Ensure all services adhere to ethical standards and state licensing requirements while fostering a positive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Experience conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and functional behavior analyses.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance related to patient records.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information responsibly while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
