Join the IHG Hotels & Resorts team as a Front Desk Associate for a career in hospitality. The recently brand new Staybridge Suites is looking for Friendly and Energetic Front Desk Associates to join our hotel operations team in Florence, Kentucky Full-Time & Part-Time positions are available for 1st shift (7am-3pm), and 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm).

FRONT DESK GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Aggressive negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Answering Phones.
  • Making, Changing, Assisting with Reservations.
  • Looking Up Directions on the Internet.
  • Promoting Rewards Program and Enrolling Interest.
  • Creative Thinking.
  • Assisting Sales and Revenue Managers.
  • Creating Good Customer Relations.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Filling In Shifts As Needed.
  • Balancing Accounts.

FRONT DESK GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Be comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Have a flexible schedule.
  • IHG, Hilton or PEP PMS Experience a Plus but Not Required.
  • Prior experience from IHG, Hyatt, Choice, Hilton, or Marriott hotels preferred but Not Required.
  • Basic to Moderate Computer Skills.
  • Knowledge of Emailing
  • Energetic and Capable of Multi-Tasking.
  • Good with Following Up/Following Through.
  • Have Reliable Transportation and Be on Time.
  • Good Problem-Solving Skills.

This position may require the ability to work evenings and weekends with flexibility throughout the week as needed. Schedules will be communicated in advance by a manager.

Pay: $ $14.50 per hour
