Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Type: Contract

Pay rate: $45-$50/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiology Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Takes radiographs per physician orders.
  • Protects patients and employees from unnecessary radiation.
  • Has knowledge of front desk operations and computer systems and reports equipment problems to the manager and Clinical Engineers.
  • Schedules exams and alerts supervisors when necessary.
  • Uses the centralized transport program for patient transportation.
  • Looks up pertinent information in computer systems regarding patient exams, ordering, reprinting, or canceling when necessary.
  • Interacts professionally with other departments.
  • Assists Radiologic Technologist students.
  • Performs duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance (ODH, Joint Commission), ordering supplies, and scheduling staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology school.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques/procedures.
  • Patient positioning and equipment operation (x-ray machines and printers).
