We are seeking an
Account Manager
based in
Louisville, KY
to play a pivotal role in supporting our regional accounts. As a customer-facing role, the Account Manager will identify new opportunities to drive incremental sales while building strong, consultative relationships. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the full range of
TPC Packaging Solutions products and services
, and the ability to clearly articulate how they can add value to each client's business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Build and maintain strong client relationships advising on TPCs products and services
- Oversee vendor‑managed inventory programs to maintain accurate stock levels and smooth flow cycles
- Identify and drive organic growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Converting) to support customer needs
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to execute strategic initiatives
- Prepare monthly reports on prospects, projects, and account activity for Sales leadership
- Conduct quarterly business review presentations with top clients.
- Support accounting with collections and resolve customer escalations promptly
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and overall business growth strategy
- Deliver annual partnership highlight reports to showcase customer activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or account management.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and client needs to develop strategic plans
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in packaging industry a plus
