Group Home Manager

Position Summary
The Group Home Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and compliant environment for residents. This role oversees staff performance, resident care, and program implementation while maintaining adherence to state regulations, company policies, and individual service plans.
Hours are 2pm-10pm
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support all direct-care and overnight staff, including scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee resident care plans, ensuring goals and interventions are implemented as written.
- Maintain compliance with licensing standards, safety regulations, and agency policies.
- Monitor documentation (progress notes, MARS, incident reports) for accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate medical, behavioral-health, educational, and recreational services for residents.
- Serve as primary liaison with guardians, social workers, and other external providers.
- Lead or participate in staff meetings, resident meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure the home is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with supplies.
- Provide crisis management, including de-escalation support and incident follow-up.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Report serious incidents and maintain records as required by state and agency policy.
- Support a positive, respectful culture for both staff and residents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: At least 1 years of supervisory
- Strong knowledge of licensing requirements and best practices for group-home care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
Job Type: Full-time
