Senior Account Executive
KennedyC seeks a Senior Account Executive to join our talented, hard-working, and passionate Account Services Team in Madison, WI. The Account Services Team serves as the primary link between the agency and client accounts, and the Senior Account Executive will manage their own accounts while also performing core account executive responsibilities. Roles & Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Communication
- Establish and strengthen client relationships through strategic guidance and collaboration
- Ensure overall client satisfaction and clear communication on assigned accounts
- Effectively present, sell and defend agency strategy, proposals and work to clients
- Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' business, key issues and industry trends
- Client travel as needed
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to uncover marketing challenges, define opportunities, and develop strategic solutions
- Anticipates client needs and understands the broader business context to shape marketing strategies and decisions that drive client objectives and long-term growth
- Develops and articulates initial points of view relative to strategic, creative and media alternatives
Team Collaboration
- Per the client's strategic advertising plan, works with each department to manage body of work for on-time completion with client approvals, as needed
- Demonstrates leadership through actions and communication within and between departments
- Provides guidance and mentorship to team members, elevating strategic thinking and client communication across the account team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of agency or sales experience, with proven success in client relationship management
- Skilled storyteller and presenter, able to confidently lead client meetings and strategic discussions
- Deep understanding of both traditional and digital marketing tools and tactics
- Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, proactive professional with exceptional account management abilities
