As a Director, Local Performance Marketing on the Marketing team, a typical day for you will include:
Integrated marketing plan strategy and recommendations for franchise owners
- Develop and oversee the execution of local integrated marketing plans, channel/tactic mix and programs that align with the customer journey and marketing funnel, while delivering on acquisition, retention, reactivation, and loyalty goals for overall customer growth.
- Develop pre-opening and grand-opening marketing plans, and first- and second-year integrated marketing plan recommendations to deliver break-even targets.
- Continually analyze and optimize the performance of local programs with recommendations provided to individual franchise owners, and/or capture of their local marketing plan.
- Ensure that all local marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactical plans are aligned with national brand strategy, business objectives, and executed flawlessly, on time and within budget.
Develop high performing teams
- Manage and mentor a growing team by guiding, inspiring, and delivering on the marketing mission and NEI vision.
- Support development of local marketing training for FBCs and franchise owners, alongside Director of Marketing Programs, to increase engagement of franchise owners.
- Manage local marketing budgets, with a focus on program effectiveness, and end-to-end marketing investment optimization.
Other support areas
- Travel up to 15% for in-person Advisory/Marketing Council Meetings, company or team functions and annual franchise owner reunion.
- Lead strategy of local marketing content for key meetings.

- Experience:
- 10+ years marketing experience ideally within a franchise service or retail industry, 7+ years' experience with digital marketing, highly analytical and data-driven, including 5+ years supervisory experience
- Skills:
- Proven leadership ability and experience developing high performing teams
- Sense of pride and ownership in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Strong track record of delivering results in a high growth environment, with the ability to interpret, analyze and present metrics and trends
- Possess excellent diplomatic skills and relationship building qualities
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence at all levels within the organization
- Ability to think critically and to interpret and apply processes across many different areas
- Ability to think critically and to interpret and recommend process improvements across marketing operations and franchise owner support
- Education:
- Four-year college degree in Marketing or related field
- Schedule / in-office requirements:
- Hybrid working model. Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home. Fully remote is also an option if not DFW based.
