The Clinical Supervisor will ensure the overall clinical and operational integrity of their clinical team(s). They are responsible for the productivity of that team and ensure that the team is functioning with solid treatment integrity at all times. The Clinical Supervisor's primary responsibilities are to conduct individual meetings, observations with clients, and group meetings/weekly with the treatment team to ensure that the clinical needs of the team are being met. In addition the Clinical Supervisor provides going training and supervision of all staff (Care Coordinator, BHT and BC) within the clinical team.

Summary Of Essential Functions

  • Supervise clinical staff (BHT) or (BC) in both an individual and group format
  • Conduct training of BHT staff and BC consultants
  • Ensure that training for staff is being provided as required by the state/CBH
  • Works with the clinical team to formulate a strong case conceptualization
  • Maintain a positive, professional and collaborative relationship and partnership with staff, children, families and school community.
  • Work collaboratively with all CCTC departments to ensure the clinical needs of children and families are being met
  • Keep track of supervision through the use of supervisory notes and maintained in a supervisory electronic log.
  • Review clinical progress notes
  • Oversee the quality of BHT's (Behavior Health Technician) and Behavior Consultants (BC) overall job performance, ensure timely completion of and quality control of the documentation of work
  • Provide staff with supervisory support during the hours that IBHS are provided, including evening and weekends
  • Evaluate staff on an annual basis
  • Develop action plans for improving service delivery
  • Keep current in areas of child development, applied behavior analysis, and other levels of care that may be appropriate for clients served
  • Attend regular on site mandatory trainings in areas such as but not limited to annual and CPR
  • Tracks trends and investigates issues of documentation, over-servicing, and under-servicing. Ensures that all documentation has clinical integrity. Reviews under-servicing with Care Coordinators in meetings
  • Reviews the treatment plans and utilization of cases, using standardized forms and presents feedback in supervisory sessions
  • Provides emergency clinical services as needed
  • Ensure that staff follow Children's Crisis Treatment Center's policies and procedures
  • Communicates staffing issues to the Team Leader/director of clinical teams for behavioral rehabilitation in a timely manner
  • Insures that staff file incident reports and brings such reports to the attention of the Team Leader/Director within 24 hours of occurrence
  • As needed, interviews BHT and BC for positions within the ABA program
  • Collaboratively designs training with the Team Leader/director of clinical teams
  • Ensure that staff are following Children Crisis Treatment Center's policy and procedures
  • Attends weekly supervision with the Team Leader
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Team Leader or Division Director

Requirements
Master's degree in psychology, social work or related field.

Has completed a minimum of 12 college credits in ABA coursework

Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Minimum of one year of full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct services to children

Strong interpersonal skills

BCBA preferred
