Licensed Clinical Assessor Job

Definition:
As part of ABIT Consulting Group, it is the responsibility of the Licensed Clinical Assessor to complete, at a minimum, prescriptive services for clients served by ABIT Consulting Group in the form of annual Written Orders. The Licensed Clinical Assessor will schedule written order appointments with clients to ensure that there is a valid prescription for each upcoming reauthorization of services as well as completing initial written orders for incoming new clients. Additional responsibilities may include the following and will come at the discretion of the Licensed Clinical Assessor and Clinical Supervisor in accordance with the qualification of the Licensed Clinical Assessor:
● Completion of Diagnostic Assessments
● Completion of Psychosocial Evaluations
● Assignment of Counseling Clients
Reports to: Clinical Director
Supervision Over: None
Availability: Monday through Friday (flexible hours)
Position Type: Part-time/Full-time employee/Remote
Minimum Qualifications:
:
● Must have a qualified state license (i.e. Licensed Professional Counselor) with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA or behavior services
● Must be PROMISE Enrolled and able to bill for Medicaid clients (or willing to complete this upon hire)
● Possess a minimum of a Master's degree
● A minimum of 3 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
● Experience completing written orders and diagnostic assessments is preferred.

● Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies
● Learning theories and instructional methods
● Ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions
● Developmental processes of children, adolescents, and adults
● Interpersonal skills needed to manage crisis situations
● Technology, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms
● Correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
● Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply

● Submit appropriate documentation in a timely manner and by designated due dates
● Respond to communication efforts within a 24-hour period
● Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff and outside professionals, groups, or individuals
● Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports
● Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
● Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development
● Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
● Knowledge and competency in telehealth platforms including zoom

● Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history background check
● Satisfactory reference checks
● Access to a computer for telehealth services and indirect activities
Salary/Hourly Rate: $60 per hour
