Role Overview

Denver Tools is seeking a talented and experienced Catalog Designer to develop a full product catalog for our premium garden and hand tools. This is a contract role, with the project continuing until the catalog is complete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a comprehensive digital product catalog, presenting products clearly and engagingly while reflecting the brand identity.
  • Organize and standardize product data, images, descriptions, and specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency across all catalog pages.
  • Create visually appealing layouts using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva, optimizing for readability and buyer engagement.
  • Integrate content including photography, copy, and technical specifications for an accurate and polished catalog.
  • Deliver final catalog optimized for both digital distribution and print production.

Requirements

  • Proven prior experience in catalog design for digital or print; portfolio required.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Canva.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large product datasets accurately.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate progress effectively.
  • Testing step: Candidates will be required to complete a short design task to demonstrate skills before selection.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with e-commerce product catalogs or retail marketing materials.
  • Understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and layout optimization for conversion.
  • Familiarity with both digital and print production requirements.
