Role

We're looking for an AI Engineer with a backend background - someone who used to ship APIs, services, and infra in Python, then moved into ML/GenAI and now wants to put real AI in production (not just notebooks). You'll design and deploy models for chat-to-shop, recommendations, vector search, and visual features - all in real time, for users who are actually buying.

What you'll do

· Build and ship Python services that run AI in production (FastAPI / similar).

· Design, train, and optimize models for real-time product recommendations and personalization.

· Build and fine-tune NLP flows for chat, product search, and retrieval.

· Work with LangChain / similar frameworks to create advanced conversational shopping agents.

· Integrate and tune vector DBs (Qdrant, Milvus, etc.) for embeddings, fast lookup, and hybrid search.

· Build image / generation pipelines (incl. diffusion) to enhance visual try-on / style flows.

· Optimize models for latency, cost, and scale (users, SKUs, brands).

· Work closely with backend and mobile teams to get your models into the product - not just into demos.

What we're looking for

· 5+ years total engineering experience, incl. solid backend work in Python.

· 2–3+ years working with ML/AI in production (not only research/PoC).

· Strong Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow.

· Experience with NLP / RAG / embeddings and vector DBs (Qdrant, Milvus).

· Experience with image/gen models a plus (Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, DALL·E-style).

· LangChain (or similar toolkits) for conversational AI.

· Comfortable with Docker and cloud (AWS/GCP).

· Knows how to design clean APIs and integrate with existing backends (FastAPI is a plus).

· Bonus: built recommendation or ranking systems before.
