Job Summary
The Automotive Warranty Administrator manages all aspects of our dealership's warranty process. This vital role ensures accurate and timely warranty claim submissions, acting as the key liaison between customers, technicians, and manufacturers. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete warranty claims process, from initial customer contact to claim reconciliation, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the dealership and all warranty providers.
- Review, document, and submit warranty claims electronically in a timely and accurate manner.
- Track service work to ensure claims are properly documented and eligible for warranty reimbursement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop and manage dealership goodwill/out-of-warranty policies and budgets.
- Ensure proper documentation, parts retention, and follow-up for all claims.
- Resolve customer warranty-related concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with warranty administration in an automotive dealership or service department preferred.
- Strong understanding of warranty policies, documentation requirements, and claims processing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
