About the Role
We're seeking a
Fractional Controller
to join our expanding advisory team in the
Charlotte Metro area
. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional who thrives in dynamic, client-facing environments and wants to apply their expertise across multiple privately held businesses. You will oversee financial operations, elevate reporting accuracy, strengthen budget discipline, and ensure compliance. Also advising executives and owners on strategic financial decisions that drive growth and liquidity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of
financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting - Maintain strong compliance with
GAAP and regulatory standards - Deliver actionable insights to business owners and executive teams
- Support
M&A readiness, cash flow optimization, and value creation initiatives - Collaborate cross-functionally with Quest's CFO and Advisory teams to deliver measurable client impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field
(CPA preferred) - Proven experience in
financial reporting, budget management, and compliance - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative advisory environment
- Experience in an
advisory or consulting firm
is a strong plus
