Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of various project management methodologies. The IT Project Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project planning, execution, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation using various project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines using tools such as Microsoft Project, TFS, or Jira to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and facilitate discussions to clarify project objectives and expectations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements.
  • Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle including test cases, project plans, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with enterprise software standards and governance policies.
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess project performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of project status and changes.
  • Support release management activities to ensure smooth deployment of software updates or new features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT project management or coordination with a strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and enterprise software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as VersionOne, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Strong knowledge of various project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile frameworks (Kanban), and Test-driven development practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
