About Vitasigns

Vitasigns is a fast‑growing healthcare technology startup based in Newport Beach. We partner with leading physicians and health systems to keep patients with chronic conditions connected to their care teams between office visits through Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), telehealth check‑ins, and related virtual care programs.

We are not a typical medical office or call‑center environment. All patient interactions happen remotely, allowing our team to support patients through technology, data, and compassionate communication rather than in‑person visits. This approach helps patients manage conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease more effectively, from the comfort of their home.

The Opportunity

This is not your average sales job. You are not selling random products; you are helping patients enroll into programs that can meaningfully improve their health and quality of life.

As a Sales Associate (Healthcare) you will focus on patient enrollment. You will speak with patients who have been referred to us by their doctors, explain the program in clear, simple language, address concerns, and guide them through a short but precise consent and onboarding process.

What You Will Do

  1. Outreach and First Contact

  2. Call, text, and follow up with patients who have been referred to Vitasigns by their physicians.

  3. Make a high volume of outbound calls each day using our phone system to connect with patients.
  4. Introduce yourself and Vitasigns in a warm, professional way and quickly build rapport.

  5. Education and Persuasion

  6. Explain what Remote Patient Monitoring is and why their doctor recommended it.

  7. Communicate benefits clearly, in plain language, tailored to the patient's situation.
  8. Address hesitations and objections respectfully while staying focused on helping the patient make an informed decision.

  9. Enrollment and Closing

  10. Walk patients through the consent and enrollment process step by step.

  11. Ensure all required information is captured accurately the first time.
  12. Confirm the patient is comfortable with what to expect next and how the program works.

  13. CRM and Pipeline Management

  14. Work inside our CRM (HubSpot) throughout the day, updating call outcomes, notes, and patient status in real time.

  15. Manage your own pipeline of assigned patients, follow up consistently, and make sure no one falls through the cracks.
  16. Take ownership of your numbers, including daily call activity and monthly enrollments.

  17. Collaboration and Feedback

  18. Work with clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs once a patient is enrolled.

  19. Share feedback from patient conversations to help us refine scripts, processes, and messaging.
  20. Participate in coaching and training to continually sharpen your skills.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success is defined by a combination of:

  • Monthly patient enrollments: You consistently meet or exceed your enrollment targets.
  • Accuracy: Your enrollments are fully completed and compliant with our onboarding checklist; only complete and accurate enrollments count toward bonuses.
  • Patient experience: Patients feel heard, respected, and supported in every interaction.
  • Reliability: You show up on time, work on site every day, and follow through on your commitments.

This is a role for someone who likes to see their results in both patient outcomes and in their paycheck.

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • At least 1 year of experience in a performance based role such as sales, admissions, outbound calling, or high volume customer service.
  • Comfortable with high call volume and structured outreach; you are not afraid of the phone.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
  • Ability to explain things clearly, listen carefully, and build trust quickly with patients.
  • Tech comfortable: able to work with multiple tabs and systems open, and keep notes updated in a CRM while on calls.
  • Highly organized, self directed, and motivated by clear goals and metrics.
  • Able and willing to work 100 percent on site at our Newport Beach office, Monday through Friday.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, medical office, insurance, pharmacy, or another patient facing environment.
  • Experience using HubSpot or another CRM system.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Farsi, Korean, or Mandarin is a strong plus.

Compensation and Performance Incentives

  • Base Pay: $25.00 per hour, full time.
  • Performance Bonuses: You earn a bonus for every patient you successfully and accurately enroll in our program.
  • Accelerated Bonus Rate: Once you reach your monthly enrollment target, the bonus amount per enrollment increases for every additional enrollment, so strong performers are rewarded more for going beyond target.
  • Target Earnings: Based on current expectations, successful team members can reasonably earn $60,000 to $75,000+ per year in total compensation (base pay plus performance bonuses), depending on individual performance and consistency.
  • We reserve the right to adjust bonus rates and targets periodically (e.g., annually or semi‑annually) based on technology changes, actual productivity data, and changes in reimbursement or margins.
  • Variable compensation structures may be updated from time to time with 30 days' written notice.

We designed this structure to reward people who are accurate, driven, and consistent, not just busy.

Schedule and Location

  • Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
  • Location: On site only at our Newport Beach, CA headquarters. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
