Lether Law Group is a boutique litigation law firm on Lake Union looking for a full time paralegal. The position involves assisting approximately three attorneys in a fast-paced environment. A paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, or at least two years of litigation experience are preferred.

The primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing correspondence and pleadings
  • Filing documents in a variety of state, federal and appellate courts
  • Proofreading and editing documents
  • Managing case deadlines and maintaining calendars for multiple files
  • Scheduling and coordinating depositions, mediations, motion hearings, etc.
  • Trial preparation
  • Transcribing dictation
  • Assistance with administrative tasks as necessary

The following knowledge and abilities are required for this position:

  • Dependable and punctual
  • Basic knowledge of Washington State and Federal Court rules
  • Ability to read, write and proofread for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and perform all duties under time constraints
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and follow instructions effectively with clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors.
