The Administrative Assistant – Provider Services plays an important role in supporting Green Light's Provider Services team. This entry-level position helps keep the department running smoothly by organizing documents, managing communications, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks related to provider appeals and claims.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Provider Services team.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files and records related to provider appeals, including tasks and communications.
  • Manage and route incoming communications (emails, phone calls, documentation) to the appropriate team members.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive healthcare information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Provider Services team and overall department operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or customer service experience (healthcare experience a plus).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
