We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a . Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and develop menus that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and standards for quality.
  • Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in catering events, providing fine dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to health regulations.
  • Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent food service during meal times, engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience.
  • Support kitchen staff in various capacities as needed, including training new team members on best practices.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
  • Proven experience in menu planning and food preparation within a culinary setting.
  • Background in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience with catering services is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is essential.
