Responsibilities

• Assist in menu planning and development to meet dietary needs and customer preferences.
• Handle food with care, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including equipment and utensils.
• Serve food efficiently in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Support catering events by preparing and presenting food items as required.
• Demonstrate knife skills and proper food handling techniques during meal preparation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation for ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments, culinary roles, or food service settings preferred.
• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and serving is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, including proper handling and sanitation procedures.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
• Experience with fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
