As a fast-growing brand, we're seeking an experienced, high-performing General Manager to lead operations at our first Miami location. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building a top-tier team, driving daily excellence, and delivering a standout guest experience. The right candidate brings high energy, strong leadership, a hospitality mindset, and a sharp understanding of fast casual and tech-forward restaurant operations.
Career & Growth Opportunity
This position plays a central role in our South Florida expansion. Once you successfully built the team and scale operations at the first Florida location, you'll hire and train a successor and transition to open and lead our next location in South Florida. Long term, the ideal candidate will be promoted to Regional Manager overseeing up to five locations between Miami and Orlando. As you excel, and the Team you build excels in operational excellence and performance, contributing to company's growth and profitability, your compensation, title, and responsibilities will evolve over time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
- Lead all day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, speed, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and cleanliness standards.
- Proactively troubleshoot and adapt to business challenges and industry trends.
2. Team Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team.
- Schedule, coach, and lead by example, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications for the store and employees.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of HR practices, scheduling, and labor law compliance.
3. Guest Experience
- Promote a culture of genuine hospitality and customer-first service.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Drive repeat business and brand loyalty through exceptional service standards.
4. Financial & Inventory Management
- Oversee all financial aspects of the store including labor, COGs, and EBITDA.
- Monitor KPIs and identify areas for performance and margin improvement.
- Manage inventory, maintain budgets, and control operational costs.
- Prepare and submit all required reports to HQ, landlords, and other stakeholders.
5. Menu Knowledge & Local Marketing
- Demonstrate full understanding of all menu items, LTOs, and food allergen information.
- Participate in local events and execute store-level marketing initiatives (concerts, sports, Art Basel, etc.).
- Encourage team-generated content and contribute to social media by sharing with ownership or approved brand representatives.
6. Additional Duties
- This role may require supporting other business areas or projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in fast casual or QSR environments.
- ServSafe Certification (required).
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Full P&L management experience and solid financial acumen.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving/criminal record.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Environment
- Hands-on leadership role—must be actively engaged on the floor with your team.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required for store operations.
